1 cup onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, crushed
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1/4 cup oil
28 ounces whole tomatoes
8 ounces tomato sauce
2 cups water
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup white wine
1 pound cod
8 ounces crabs
8 ounces shrimp
1 cup canned clams, chopped
In a large saucepan, saute chopped onion, crushed garlic cloves, and chopped green bell peppers in oil for 10 minutes. Add whole tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, bay leaves, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add white wine and cod. Simmer for 10 minutes then add crab, shrimp, and chopped canned clams. Simmer for 10 minutes. Remove the bay leaf before serving. Serving Size: 6
